Transitioning home after a hospital stay often requires rehabilitation services to regain strength, balance, and other essential life skills. The Stewart Health Center offers a full range of advanced therapy programs, state-of-the-art equipment, and a supportive, healing environment. Our team of certified therapists will create a customized rehabilitation program designed to get you back on your feet and back home as quickly as possible. Our short-term rehabilitative services are reserved for Cypress members only.
Primary Rehabilitation Services
Our therapists are highly trained and extremely well-versed in helping seniors recover from serious medical challenges. For as long as you’re with us, the customized treatments they provide will be the focal point of your stay.
Physical Therapy
Our PT program focuses on building back strength, balance, and coordination so that when you leave The Stewart Health Center, you’ll be physically prepared to take on everyday activities, and hopefully more.
Occupational Therapy
Depending on where you are in your recovery, our therapists will work on improving functional, real-world skills such as eating, dressing, and writing.
Speech Therapy
For those arriving at The Stewart Health Center with impacted speech, our program focuses on improving functional communication skills, mouth dexterity, and if necessary, safe chewing and swallowing.
