The Stewart Health Center is a 79-bed, skilled-care facility that offers Cypress members and their families seamless access to outstanding medical care.
The recipient of a prestigious 5-star Medicare rating, The Stewart provides short-term rehabilitation, and long-term and memory care services. The Stewart’s multi-disciplined team of doctors, nurses, specialists, and support staff have extensive experience caring for seniors. As a result, they are uniquely qualified to serve your medical needs while treating you with the compassion and respect you’ve earned.

Without question, one of the most important benefits of living at The Cypress of Charlotte is your guaranteed access to The Stewart Health Center. Cypress members and their families should be reassured knowing there’s an outstanding and versatile medical resource right on campus. As a Cypress member, you’re entitled to 90 “free” days of care included within your membership agreement, and significantly reduced rates at The Stewart, in addition to all your Medicare-covered benefits.

Specialty Areas of Care
Short-Term Rehabilitative Care
This program helps individuals recovering from a hospital stay to recuperate and return home as quickly as possible. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy are all part of a personalized plan designed to get short-term residents back on their feet. Short-term rehabilitative services are reserved for Cypress members only.
Assisted Living & Long-Term Care
The Stewart Health Center is an ideal long-term solution for those needing a helping hand with everyday activities like dressing, bathing, and medication management. Warm and inviting, with great food and activities, The Stewart provides long-term residents with the care and assistance they need, set among a friendly, caring community.
Memory Care
For residents and their families dealing with the challenges of Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, The Stewart Health Center offers a dedicated neighborhood featuring private suites, 24-hour supervision, activities director, and specialized programs.

A Total Team Effort
Our multi-faceted medical staff consists of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as a social worker, dietitian, and activities coordinator. Together, they collaborate to create a holistic plan of action for each Stewart Health Center resident to ensure that their specific medical and quality-of-life needs are met. Our Cypress Home Care team will help you make a seamless transition when you’re ready to go back to your home.
